As an Exercise and Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping both government and private sector entities navigate complex challenges, including catastrophic disasters and cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with teams to plan, design, execute, and evaluate homeland security exercises, covering areas such as terrorism, cybersecurity, and natural disasters. Supporting policy assessment, research, and strategic planning within the homeland security or public policy domains. Providing logistical support and administrative assistance for exercises and related events. Developing high-quality written communications products and reports using various software programs. Responsibilities: Collaborate with teams to plan, design, and execute cybersecurity exercises for government and private sector clients. Assist in scenario development, stakeholder engagement, and research for exercises. Conduct research and analysis in support of cybersecurity, emergency management, and homeland security projects. Develop written deliverables and reports with a strong attention to detail and adherence to professional standards. Occasional travel within the United States may be required. Required Qualifications: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship required). Bachelor’s degree in national security, public policy, political science, cybersecurity, or homeland security. 2 to 5 years of experience in homeland security, cybersecurity, or related fields. Familiarity with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) and exercise design principles. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Additional Information: Location: Ideally in the DC metro area, remote options may be available. Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and more. Minimum starting salary: $60,000, with potential for higher based on experience and qualifications.
